The Hospital and its environment

HFHN is a Catholic founded PNFP General Hospital owned by the Registered Trustees of Nebbi Catholic Diocese. It is the only hospital in Zombo District founded by Comboni Missionaries in 1956 as a dispensary and gained a hospital status in 1987 and currently operates at 139 bed capacity. It’s registered with Uganda Medical and Dental Practitioners’ Council (UMDPC) and accredited annually by Uganda Catholic Medical Bureau and forms part of the Uganda Catholic Health Network under the coordination of UCMB. It was integrated into the national health system during the health reforms of 1996/1997.
The hospital provides technical head to Okoro Health Sub District. No significant change was registered during the financial year.
